Early morning hike through Tokyo before departing for Colorado.

So I'm back in Turkey for another vacation. This time only for two weeks instead of the 3.5 that I did last year. Still, there is absolutely no complaining going on here. I haven't been posting much but I have put together a map of our travels that I'm updating daily (as 3G signal allows):

Sugar shack in CT. The sap is at 1% (early season) and it will take 48gal to make 1gal of syrup. Later on in the season the sugar content of the sap will increase and the yield will go up accordingly.

This time with my sweetheart. 6 miles over packed snow, with a bit of bushwhacking through some deeper snow. Next time we will bring the snowshoes.
